A chronograph is a portmanteau of the Greek words to record time and to write. It is used here to describe the moment when a photograph is recorded (time present) and the accumulation of these “markers” (graphing time past).

The concept of the work has changed over the last 45 years from a sketchbook to a stream of similar images. The goal became a series that was independent of time, subject and geography.
