Contained within a camera that I received from an estate, was an undeveloped roll of color film. I sent it out for development and on receipt noticed that the film had decayed with age: the color dyes had become unstable, fading and disappearing with few images. The photographs that remained were of an unknown ski resort [1] shot in the late 1970's to early 1980's.

Trying to work with these made them appear less like photographs and more like Japanese wood block prints.

[1] I was recently informed that the location of these photographs appear to be Summit County, Colorado.
